~Height differences
I feel that mangas, anime, comics, cartoon and stuff have contributed to the phenomena of really tall Boyfriends and exceptionally short Girlfriends. The scenes in these sources have promoted this trend. Tall dashing Boyfriends and cute adorable Girlfriends. What happened to the intelligent boyfriends and smart independant girlfriends?
I feel it is not feasible and pratical for such great height differences for obvious reasons. They would have to shout at each other to be audible. And sound travels forward not altitude wise. Imagine if they would be seperated in a crowd, the guy cannot find the girl and the girl gets lost in the sea of people. If they go shopping ( i would not like to go see clothes with a guy, they lack understanding on the female fashion industry ), they would be looking at different racks of shoes! If they hold hands, the guy has to slouch to one side to reach for hers and the girl has to lift her hand higher too. Hence, the guy would have back aches and the girl would have arm pain. The list goes on.
The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie has helped to alter the thoughts of people. Hagrid and his love have height differences. His love affair is two heads length taller then him instead.
The Earth is Round. I strongly hope we balance ourselves up.
