~Chinese New Year
Its the Chinese New Year once again! I love Chinese New Year. It is not because of that extra takings from Angbaos or the endless supply of food, neither is it the new clothes we get to look good in.
It is rather because of the atmosphere.
I enjoy the atmosphere where we get to meet and catch-up once a year. I enjoy the atmosphere where everyone throws their problems to the back of their mind to celebrate the New Year. I enjoy the atmosphere where we are away from all that pressures of everyday life to relax and enjoy the company of our family members. I enjoy the atmosphere where eveyone wishes well for everyone in the coming New Year.
Basically, the mood and atmosphere of Chinese New Year is different from New Year or Christmas.
