~Family Man
I just watched this movie entitled THE FAMILY MAN. Its basically about this man who led a high life. He owned a big apartment and had a high flying job. As cliche as it may be, he woke up and realised that he is a different man. A family man. He became a husband and a father and a whole lot of commitments and attachments came along too.
I was dissapointed by his twist from high flyer to big-o-daddy. Waking up a different person? Can you get any more creative? But the show is extremely thought provoking.
Ive always dreamt and am still dreaming that my future will hold loads of opportunities and i am going to strike it out on my own and make it BIG. But what i failed to see are the other things in life. That is 'f'amily and 'f'riends. Yes, the two group "'f'ools" that will stick with me through thick and thin and the group of people i will not hold back helping.
The show also gave me the insight about being a parent. Guess my parents sacrificed a whole deal for us. But im sure they are lucky to have us like how lucky we are to have them. I am trying to be mildly narcissist here.
Family or career? Subjective.
