~The KING and The CLOWN
My all time favourite movie would be the King and the Clown. It is a korean movie. It traces the life of two clowns and their contact with the King. The King is kind of lunatic and the Clown is very attractive. So that sparked off the movie.
What i liked about the show is that i was unable to peel down the movie into layers and decifer them. They were linked all so well. When you watch the second time, you will be more aware of the cinematography and how the plot was weaved so beautifully. The complexities of the ideas in the movie and the contradictions in the feelings of the characters was so interesting and made me hooked for more. The storyline is extremely touching as it traces love, brotherhood, heroism, sacrifice...... The actors in the movie portrayed the characters and made them come to live. And the show displayed the rich heritage and culture of Korea which is very interesting to me.
I watched it once. then twice and there will be many more times to come.
