~An Unfortunate Incident
So i was on my way to the Labrador Campsite to participate in the annual LTC Campfire and met with this caucausian that i wish can never get past gates ever in her life.
I reached Harbourfront MRT and though it was the interchange there were so little gentries available. I queued up for one and when it was my turn the sensor said that it has reached a limit and asked me to proceed to the next one instead. Then, typical Singaporeans blamed me for the error. Arent the lucky they were not me, cause it will be retribution for them with added spice. They know whats wrong (which was the gentry) but instead blamed me, so typical of them.
Then i proceeded to queue at the next gentry unlike all those after me in the previous queue who resolted to cutting in to the next queue. So i was irritated by them and they are cutting me queue. Then a caucasian wanted to cut my queue even though i was the last in the queue. I guess she is pretty blind. I refused of course and just placed my card at the sensor. Becuase of the faulty sensor of the previous gentry, my card failed to get beeped and instead showed a "card failed" sign instead. Then the caucasian (who is possibky italian or french) shooed me away and said in a sacastic way " cant you read, it says card failed CIAO ( flicking her fingers at me) YAhhhYEEE!!" I have no idea what the last phrase was about but from the tone of her voice, i am sure it doesnt mean oh my beautiful lady.
Everyone expected my usual reaction to be to quarrel back at her and made sure she lost. But i looked at her, didnt batter an eye lid and walked away is the most calm manner. This better show her that she has to grow up big time. The worst part was that i was chided off by a foreigner on a holiday in my own country. Needless to say, all singaporean there turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the incident. But i guess the only thing i can take comfort in is that i think maybe i grew up a little just like how my big sis once told me "we are bigger than that". Cheerios, onnesan!
