~Bus rides.
I live far away from school and school days start and end with long bus or train rides. These bus journeys are usually used to catch up on sleep or to read though my lecture notes or rather more usually to stare into outer space.
So i took bus home today and it was one inspiring ride. I met this blind lady on the bus today. Even though she is blind, she looks really good. She even had aurben red hair and a nice rose floral shirt! I noticed her because of her nice dressing then i realise that she is blind. She is really bubbly and was chatting happily with the bus rider. When she reached her stop, i helped her down the bus and the bus rider started to chat with me instead!
From the bus rider, i learnt that her husband is blind too. They do feet massages for a living and had a son who, sadly, committed suicide recently. Their daughter is married off too. Despite life's hardship she persisted on to work everyday.
What do i have to complain when i have the priviledge to make my own choices rather than be forced by life's circumstances. Kuddos to the aunty!!
