~The Dance Floor and My Parents
My mum is a closet dance fanatic. She catches every episode of "So you think you can Dance?" and narrates to me about everyone's dance moves when i get back home. She knows all the dancers' name by heart and has her favourites. Which happens to be the heartthrobs.
My dad. I inherited the two left foot disease and the no-beat feeling plus the tone deaf affair. But amazement, amazement, my dad who grew up listening to the BEEGEES and Beatles actually likes HIP HOP!!! He roots for Soul Fusion from the Dance Floor. He didnt know that it was hip-hop until my mum pointed out my dad's favourite group. "YARH LAR, the three girls one guy group", declares my dad. Then i went " GOSH! Daddy likes HIP HOP!!!"
My parents are begining to sound cool, huh!
Hiaaa, let me mention that i want to resume Belly Dancing lessons, then they will be quick to dismiss it and change the topic......
