~Sailing Bottles.
There was once a wise man's tale that goes like this:
There isnt anything as heart-wrenching or saddening then two message-in-a-bottle setting a sail in the great big ocean. They met by chance in the far expanse. They knocked against each other just to be only seperated by the wave that moves through. Along the wave they went and seperated. Yet the light clinking sound of the two glass bottles resounded through the ocean reaching across far away places.
She closed the book and left it on the wooden jetty plank. Her legs were dipped in the cooling ocean and she as she swung her legs, the water splashed about to show the rainbows on them. The cooling see breeze swept through her hair.
She gazed at the endless sea around her and said, "When the ocean dries up just like the tears in my soul and sand cover over the endless plains, my message-in-a-bottle will be buried deep beneath. If you chanced upon it and stumbled upon it, please do pick it up. Even if the wind blows over and the sand prickles your eyes. You would notice the crack on the glass, the one that was created when i bumped into you, the crack that made my bottle sank deep down to the ocean floor. Please dont mind it. Just open up the bottle and read the message. Just only when all life on earth withers, then you would finally understand what i held up for and at.".
